Google Maps and Images from Google Streetview

Upplist.com have gone to great lengths to ensure we abide by Google permissions in the use of Google Maps and Google Streetview as detailed here: https://www.google.com/permissions/geoguidelines.html

On every image or video or every page that includes an image or video we clearly state something similar to “Developed with Google Maps API | Not Affiliated with Google”.

If you (the person reading this page) are a representative of Google and you feel we are infringing your guidelines please contact us to give us the opportunity to put things right.

If you are a person, home owner or vehicle owner and you or your properties image is visible in a Google Streetview image or video we have created from Google Streetview images, and you would like that image removed, please do the following:

Ask Google to remove or ‘blur’ the image on their website.

Once Google has removed or pixilated the image contact us (as detailed below) to inform us that Google have deleted or blured the image(s). We will then delete or pixilate the image on Upplist.com

How to request Google to remove an image or blur an image

To request blurring, you have to do it yourself directly through Google Maps. Go to the Streetview of your house. Look in the bottom right edge of screen and click on "report a problem". Follow screen prompts to request blurring.

Individual Residential Property Images

These are usually uploaded by individual Real Estate professionals who believe they are the copyright owner or have permission from the copyright owner to upload the images to any listing site.

Often, where the copyright is owned by a third party the permission to use the image is revoked when the property is sold. The upplist code automatically removes individual property images when the Real Estate professional marks the property as sold and reverts to a standard Google Streetview image.

If you are the copyright owner of such images on upplist.com and believe the image has been used outside any permissions you have given or not given please first contact the Real Estate professional who you believe uploaded the image(s) and ask them to remove them via their admin panel at upplist.com.

If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the Real Estate professional within 7 days please contact Upplist directly as detailed below.

Profile Images of individual Real Estate Professionals

All profile images should be uploaded by the person who the image relates to, hence you give Upplist.com permission to display that image until you remove it or give us written notice asking for it to be removed.

If you believe your image has been uploaded without your permission please firstly contact the Real Estate professional who’s contact details are in the profile. If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the Real Estate professional within 7 days please contact Upplist directly as detailed below.

General Real Estate or location images, not linked to an individual property listing on upplist.com

All images on Upplist.com that do not relate to a specific property should be one of the following:

-Public Domain or Creative Commons images that we have obtained

If you believe you are the owner of an image on upplist.com where you feel you have not given permission please follow the instructions below. We will promptly remove.
